SCOPE OF APPLICATION

Vamiut IQ DecorPlast plaster is intended for decorative finishing of surfaces outside and inside buildings.

Vamiut IQ DecorPlast plaster requires subsequent painting with façade paints.

Suitable for installing bonded thermal insulation systems for facades.

It is not recommended to use for decorating the base.

PREPARING THE BASE

The base must be dry and strong, without visible damage. Preparation of the base is carried out in accordance with DSTU-N B A.3.1-23:2013 and DBN V.2.6-22-2001. All uneven and weak areas of the base must be removed. The base should be cleaned of dust, dirt, biological corrosion, rust, sagging, oil stains and other substances that reduce adhesion to the base. All surface unevenness should be leveled using appropriate materials from TM Vamiut. Strong and dense bases justify IQ QuartzGrunt.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

Start applying Vamiut IQ DecorPlast only after the primer-paint has completely dried.

Measure the required amount of water into the working container. Gradually add the dry mixture to the measured water, while stirring the mixture using a low-rotating drill with an attachment. Stir the mortar mixture until a homogeneous mass is obtained. After mixing, leave the mortar mixture for 5 minutes, then mix again.

The mortar mixture should be applied using a steel float or trowel and evenly distributed over the surface with a thickness close to the size of the selected grain. At the moment of initial setting (approximately after 10-15 minutes), begin forming the structure using a plastic grater. Depending on the direction and intensity of movement with a plastic float, you can obtain the desired look of the selected texture.

Under normal conditions, no earlier than after 72 hours, the surface can be painted with water-based paints, and after 7 days - with organic solvents.

Rinse the used tool immediately with water after use.

NOTE AND RECOMMENDATIONS

It is not recommended to mix Vamiut IQ DecorPlast with other materials (cement, sand, paints, etc.).

When using plaster, avoid premature or forced drying. Freshly applied plaster must be protected from atmospheric influences (direct sunlight, strong wind, ingress of water or excessive moisture, sudden temperature changes) for at least 24 hours. To do this, scaffolding can be covered with construction mesh or foil.

The use of rusty containers and tools is not allowed.

Using Vamiut IQ DecorPlast requires basic skills in applying decorative plasters and does not cause difficulties if you follow the rules set out in this technical description. If other conditions are used, you must carry out your own tests or seek advice from the manufacturer.

When working, use protective equipment. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse immediately with water. Keep out of reach of children.

STORAGE

In original packaging, in rooms with a constant temperature from +5 to +25°C – 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the packaging. Protect from freezing during transportation.

PACKAGING

Vamiut IQ DecorPlast plaster is packaged in 25 kg paper bags.

The manufacturer is not responsible for the incorrect use of the material, as well as for its use for other purposes and conditions not provided for in the technical description. From the moment this technical description appears, all previous ones become invalid.
