Easy leveling screed IQ Floor

SCOPE

The Vamiut IQ Floor easy-leveling screed is designed for floor screeds on rigid substrates, with a layer thickness of 15 mm or more. Vamiut IQ Floor can be laid on a separate layer (hydro, heat or sound insulation), in this case the thickness of the layer must be calculated depending on the stiffness of the insulating material and the degree of mechanical stress. Vamiut IQ Floor is used for leveling and repairing existing concrete and cement-sand screeds. Self-leveling compounds can be laid over the Vamiut IQ Floor. Technological properties of the Vamiut IQ Floor mixture make it possible to prepare its surface for laying facing tiles, carpet, linoleum, etc.

BASE PREPARATION

The base must be dry and solid, with no visible damage. The preparation of the base is carried out in accordance with ДСТУ-Н Б А.3.1-23:2013 and ДБН В.2.6-22-2001. All uneven and weak areas of the base must be removed. The substrate must be free of dust, dirt, biological corrosion, rust, build-up, oil stains and other substances that reduce adhesion. PERFORMING WORK

Measure the required amount of water into the working container. Gradually add the dry mixture to the measured water, while mixing the mortar mixture with a low-rotation drill with a nozzle. Stir the mortar mixture until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. After mixing, let the mortar mixture stand for 5 minutes, then mix again. The use of the mortar mixture is possible within 60 minutes. Lay the prepared mortar mixture on the prepared base. After laying the mortar mixture, it is necessary to evenly distribute it over the surface of the base and level it with a rail-rule, trowel or other tool. When installing floating screeds, the thickness of the screed must be at least 40 mm. The screed must be protected from premature drying and, if necessary, moistened by spraying with water. Under normal conditions, technological movement is possible after 24 hours. after a screed up to 40 mm thick.

NOTE AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The work should be carried out at a substrate temperature of +5°C to +30°C and a relative air humidity of up to 80%. All instructions and recommendations described in this description can be effective at a temperature of +20°C and a relative humidity of 60%. In other conditions, the drying time may vary. It is recommended to start laying tiles or carpet no earlier than after 7 days, provided that the moisture content of the screed is no more than 4%, and for linoleum or PVC coating - no more than 3%. When installing floating screeds, the thickness of the screed must be at least 40 mm. Under normal conditions, technological movement is possible after 24 hours. after the device of a coupler up to 40 mm thick. For areas over 20 m2, expansion joints must be made in Vamiut IQ Floor screeds. On bases with such seams, it is necessary to duplicate them. STORAGE

In original packaging, in rooms with a constant temperature of +5 to +25°C - 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the package.
