Mixture for laying blocks from aerated concrete IQ BlockFix

SCOPE OF APPLICATION

The Vamiut IQ BlockFix mixture is used for the construction of internal and external walls from cellular concrete blocks of precise size (aerated concrete, foam concrete). Thanks to high adhesion to the base, it ensures the solidity of composite structures.

PREPARING THE BASE

The base must be dry and strong, without visible damage. Preparation of the base is carried out in accordance with ДСТУ-Н Б А.3.1-23:2013 и ДБН В.2.6-22-2001 All uneven and weak areas of the base must be removed. Before laying, blocks should be cleaned of dust, dirt, biological corrosion, rust, sagging, oil stains and other substances that reduce adhesion.

PERFORMANCE OF WORK

Measure the required amount of water into the working container. Gradually add the dry mixture to the measured water, while stirring the mortar mixture using a mixer or low-rotating drill with an attachment. Stir the mortar mixture until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. After stirring, leave the mortar mixture for 5 minutes, then stir again. Apply the mortar mixture to the base to which the blocks are glued and level the height of the mixture with a notched trowel. The blocks are installed on a distributed mortar mixture, and their position can be adjusted using a rubber hammer within 3 minutes after installation. The first row of masonry should be laid on a cement-sand mortar, with the help of which the base is leveled as much as possible.

STORAGE

In original packaging, in rooms with a constant temperature from +5°C to +25°C – 12 months from the date of manufacture indicated on the packaging.

PACKAGING

Vamiut IQ BlockFix mixture is packaged in 25 kg paper bags.
